My name is Ümit Yılmaz. I am hearing and speech handicapped. I was born in Karacasu, Aydin in 1990. I graduated from high school in 2000. I began to work at Rixos Hotel Premium Bodrum as steward in 2010. I was suspended at the end of the first season, which made me very sad actually. But I did not give up. I never do. I always endeavour to do my best, so I tried to learn something new every day. I was called back in 2011. I wanted to be a permanent staff member, and I needed to work hard for that, which I did. And now, I am a permanent staff member. It was a source of pride and honour for me to be promoted as a bus boy as I have understood once again that being handicapped is no obstacle for me to work and be promoted as Rixos Hotels This is my sixth year at Rixos. I am more than happy to be a part of it. |
